Recovery Cafe
It’s ribbon-cutting time!
Community Lifeline is excited to announce the opening of a Recovery Cafe in our beautiful historic shelter. The program will be located within our beautiful historic shelter building. While there are over 50 Recovery Café locations nationwide, this is the first of its kind for Mason County. What is a recovery café? The Recovery Café is a space of refuge, healing, and hope for those in the recovery community to lend support and strength to one another. This program offers a safe space where adults in the recovery can gather and support one another through their recovery journey. The Recovery Café space is inclusive of those recovering from not just substance abuse but also domestic violence, sexual assault, trauma, homelessness and mental health disorders. The program offers free meals, coffee & light beverages as well as a variety of groups and classes such as recovery circles and community building events connecting individuals with local resources. This program celebrates the diversity of each individuals lived experience and takes a holistic approach to all pathways leading to recovery. We are open to the community and look forward to providing this platform where everyone can reach their goals for success!
Community Lifeline couldn’t provide this wonderful service without your support.
Join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony on February 1, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (PT).
