What We Do

We lead the effort to provide safe and clean conditions for adults struggling with homelessness in Mason County.

Community Lifeline of Mason County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency providing 24/7, year-round, low-barrier emergency shelter and stability, meals, hot showers, clothing, case management, peer support, job training, education, advocacy and resource connection for individual adults who are in need with all services leading to pathways toward permanent housing. We are the only emergency shelter open to all individual adults without children in Mason County.

Originally founded as a food program and cold weather shelter providing overnight services seven months of the year, Community Lifeline was asked to convert to 24/7, year-round operations in March 2020 as part of the City of Shelton’s Emergency Declaration in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are actively working to expand to 50-beds to meet the tremendous need in our communities.

Our Mission

Community Lifeline’s mission is to provide emergency shelter and supportive services to adult individuals impacted by homelessness.

“People who are homeless are not social inadequates. They are people without homes.”
